A trip to Manchester Central to tell my TV story at The Autism Show

Today, I spoke at The Autism Show in Manchester about my experience of working in television and being autistic.
Speaking at Manchester Central, my talk touched upon the social challenges of working in TV, also providing an exclusive insight into Chris Packham's Inside Our Autistic Minds programme, coming soon to BBC Two.
As well as detailing my career so far, I told my story of being diagnosed as autistic and how it has continued to help my development since. After the session, I took questions from the audience about both my career and the dreams of other autistic people.
Having also picked up the University of Salford Alumni Achievement Rising Star Award on Thursday, it has been quite a week and I'm very aware of the responsibility of representing autistic people in the media. I'm excited for what the next few years have in store!
