This morning, I headed north to talk to students at Liverpool John Moores University, fresh from success at the Broadcast Awards.

Discussing my career in the media, I touched on the success of Inside Our Autistic Minds, being neurodivergent and surviving in the industry, while also giving tips on how to break in despite its competitive nature.

Now one of the largest universities in the country, Liverpool John Moores University is well-known for its cutting-edge research and degrees across five faculties. With alumni including the late musician John Lennon and the late actress Caroline Aherne, it celebrated its 200th anniversity last year.

It was a real joy to visit students in Liverpool after such a high of the Broadcast Awards. I passionately believe every neurodivergent student should be given equal opportunity to succeed and I'm grateful to the university for allowing me to share my story and tips with their cohort.
