Enjoyable two weeks with True North at offices in Salford

Over the past two weeks, I have gained an extensive insight into the world of True North, an award-winning production company.
Working alongside the production team on hit MTV show Teen Mom UK, I shadowed production coordinators, loggers and casting researchers to gain a stronger understanding of the production process.
Based in both Leeds and Manchester, True North was voted one of the Best Places to Work in TV in 2018. They have created a number of factual programmes in a variety of genres, having produced programmes including Panorama (BBC), Building the Dream (C4) and Million Dollar Baby (MTV).
The company have won many Royal Television Society awards including Best Production Company in 2017 and Best Factual Programme in 2018 with The Yorkshire Dales and The Lakes (More4).
