A written feature I wrote on the difficulties for disabled football fans has been published on The Guardian website.

While exploring how disabled fans face a multitude of difficulties on matchday, I also spoke to Owain Davies,  the 'composed but driven' chief executive of accessibility charity Level Playing Field.

Published amid plans to close most rail ticket offices in England, I note how many disabled supporters are concerned about the potential changes and the impact on journeys. The Rail Delivery Group (RDG), behind the plans, explained “roving mobile teams” would ensure no one is left stranded.

I was very pleased to be back writing following this commission. Disabled people are some of the most misunderstood, poorly represented people in society and I felt this was a really important story to tell. I appreciate The Guardian's backing and support in producing this.
