I today shared my personal story in television at The Autism Show, completing this year's virtual webinar event.

Broadcast on Zoom to a global audience, I reflected on my autism diagnosis and working in the industry, explaining that the social pressures in TV "naturally exclude autistic people".

Two videos from my website were also shown, looking back at my route through YouTube and volunteering. Viewer Judie reviewed the session as "very helpful" with Lara describing it as "encouraging and positive".

The Autism Show is the national event for autism, formed in 2011 by Geoff and Nargis Soppet and in association with the National Autistic Society. In 2021, the annual event is hoping to return to venues in London, Birmingham and Manchester, following the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
