Delighted to report live from The Autism Show for BBC Radio Manchester
28 June 2019

I am delighted to report I have made my first presenting appearance on BBC Radio Manchester, live from this year's Autism Show.
Working with co-presenter and friend Louise Croombs, I provided regular updates to Mike Sweeney's late morning programme on the two-day annual event taking place at EventCity.
The National Autistic Society describes autism as a "lifelong, developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people, and how they experience the world around them."
It was a really enjoyable experience broadcasting live on the station for the first time in a presenting capacity. Whilst I was a little stuttery and nervous, I managed to make it through the morning with the help of Louise. I do hope to do more like this in the future.
A huge thank you to EventCity for being so accommodating and BBC Radio Manchester for the opportunity. You can listen to some of the show here.
