In vision for the first time as I interview race walker Tom Bosworth for Sky

My first 'in-vision' report aired today, which saw me interview two-time Olympic race-walker Tom Bosworth and his husband for Sky Sports News.
In the five-minute piece broadcast throughout the day, I spoke to Tom about his retirement from race-walking this year and his marriage to long-term partner Harry, which took place in October.
Bosworth won silver at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia and has recently become an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health in sport. He also holds three World bests, including the World Best for the one mile race walk.
Today also marks my first appearance 'in-vision' on British television. In November 2022, I reported the views of Manchester's LGBTQ+ community on this year's FIFA World Cup but was not on camera. It was also just a real honour to be able to tell Tom and Harry's powerful story.
