Tonight, I represented Sky Sports at the Football v Homophobia, both reporting and presenting an award, sponsored by the broadcaster.

2024 marked the fifth annual Football v Homophobia Awards and took place at the National Football Museum, with the event celebrating work taking place to improve LGBTQ+ inclusion in the beautiful game.

During the night, I interviewed GayGooners co-chair Carl Fearn, Chelsea Pride chair Tracy Brown and retired Scottish footballer Zander Murray, who came out as gay in 2022. In the ceremony, I also stepped in to present the Women's Game Award, sponsored by Sky Sports.

Talking after presenting the award to The Alternative Football League, dedicated to women, non-binary and transgender individuals in Manchester, I spoke of how women's football is going from "strength to strength", while also reflecting on Sky's coverage of the Women's Super League.

You can watch me present the Sky-sponsored award here and read more about the night's winners here.
