Talking Inside Our Autistic Minds at the Sheffield Documentary Festival

This morning, I spoke at this year's Sheffield DocFest about the BBC series Inside Our Autistic Minds, on which I was an assistant producer.
The festival, which started in 1994 and is now celebrating its 30th anniversary, has become one of the world's leading documentary festivals, offering inspiration, debate and learning.
It was great to be reunited with some members of the Inside Our Autistic Minds team, some watching in the audience. On the panel, series director Joe Myerscough and I were joined by contributor Flo Bennett, an autistic comedian, who appeared in the series.
Despite the series being broadcast in February, I'm constantly reminded of its impact through my work as a neurodiversity consultant and it means so much that people are responding so positively. Providing an insight into the series is therefore a real pleasure.
