Fifth year hosting ScreenSkills neurodiversity panel a roaring success
27 August 2025
Today I hosted ScreenSkills’ online neurodiversity in TV panel for the fifth year, again helping to share neurodivergent perspectives.
ScreenSkills is the UK’s industry-led skills body, supporting screen professionals through training and development while advocating for diverse talent across the film, TV, animation and games sectors.
Since 2021, a wealth of talented neurodivergent professionals have shared insightful personal perspectives in the annual panels, exploring perceptions, accessibility, and representation. The panels have been watched by a diverse range of talent and senior media personnel.
This year’s panel saw assistant producer Laura Pratley, filmmaker Arun Kapur and journalist Nadine Drummond, who shared their experiences and careers while advocating for accessible productions, authentic on-screen representation and better support for neurodivergent staff.
It is always such a joy and huge responsibility to lead the conversation around neurodiversity in the screen industry. Both audiences and neurodivergent professionals deserve stronger representation and more consistent accessibility. I can’t wait to continue my partnership with ScreenSkills.
