I am set to leave my role on the BBC's A Question of Sport at the end of next week, with Series 49 now fully recorded.

34 episodes of the hit BBC quiz show have been shot in the studio with 20 shows still to be broadcast. Eight months working on the show has consisted of producing Mystery Guest VTs, creating graphics and much more.

It has been an incredible experience working on the show, writing questions to be posed to some of sport's biggest names. As runners and researchers, we have travelled around the country to produce content for the show, cutting it and refining it before seeing it in all its glory on the studio floor.

The show, hosted by former tennis player Sue Barker, has been running since 1970 and reached its 1000th episode in March 2013. Recorded at the Dock10 studios at MediaCityUK, the show will be heading into its 50th series next year.

The series continues every Friday night on BBC One.
