Back on ITV in Stockport rain covering disabled and neurodivergent community

My rainy feature exploring Stockport County's work in the local community has been broadcast, as part of ITV's EFL football highlights programme.

The 2-minute feature captured Stockport County Community Trust's weekly sessions for the local disabled and neurodivergent community, highlighting the power of inclusion and accessibility in football.

Despite the weather it was a great night filming, meeting Matt Oates and his team. Health and Inclusion Officer at the community trust, Matt spoke of life being autistic and living with ADHD, telling me about his ambition to create a positive space for children and adults who are different.

I got absolutely soaked during this shoot but somehow managed to deliver one of my favourite pieces to camera in recent years. Camera operator Ben Nelson did a brilliant job capturing the session and the edit from the team at IMG in London certainly did Matt and Ben's work justice. A huge thank you to all involved.

You can watch the feature on the EFL's website by clicking here.
