An appearance in Index on Censorship's special report on neurodiversity
27 July 2023
I am thrilled to feature in Index on Censorship's magazine, as the newest edition focuses on my favourite subject - neurodiversity.
Exploring the importance of understanding and representation, I reflect on the power of more positive, effective media portrayal and the online division that neurodivergent people face.
Index on Censorship publishes a quarterly magazine, something they say has featured "some of the world’s best-known writers." Passionate about free expression across the globe, each year the organisation focuses on key issues to help advocate for change in policy and public attitudes.
It was a real pleasure to work with the team at Index. Neurodiversity is a subject that needs to be covered sensitively and respectfully and I'm really proud to be a part of their latest edition. Hopefully attitudes continue to shift in the right direction on the back of this publication.
