Back to school supporting First Steps Together on SEN communications
4 December 2025
I'm thrilled to be joining thriving specialist education provider First Steps Together, to help develop their new communications strategy.
Aiming to accelerate their rapid growth and evolve brand recognition across the country, I will be supporting their fledgling digital channels, media coverage and internal communications.
With their number of specialist schools and care homes growing, First Steps Together currently operates in Manchester, Tameside and Derbyshire. The organisation is expecting further growth in 2026, with new roles being advertised and a clear belief that the strongest organisations are built on people, not only performance.
First Steps Together impressed me with their ambition and their energy for high quality education for young people who think differently. Making a genuine difference to autistic and otherwise neurodivergent people is the reason I am on this planet, and First Steps Together offers a real opportunity to do exactly that.
I am excited to begin and to continue my mission of changing perceptions around neurodivergent and disabled people. We are too often seen as a burden to society, but through thoughtful communication, clear messaging and powerful storytelling, we can help build a more compassionate and understanding world.
