I'm thrilled to be joining the BBC's Digital Cities Virtual event this month, on the panel for the Media's Rising Stars discussion.

The broadcast, taking place on Wednesday 23 September, will see University of Salford graduates open up about working in the media industry. The panel will share tips and tricks to finding the 'dream' job.

Digital Cities is a series of free online events and training for the creative industries run by BBC Academy. Partners include ScreenSkillsBFIArts Council, Channel 4 and the University of Salford. The Coronavirus pandemic means events will take place digitally between 22-24 September.

Beth Hewitt, Creative Director within the School of Arts, Media and Creative Technology, said: “Working closely with industry is central to everything that we deliver. Our curriculum is motivated and driven by industry and our media partnerships and collaborations live at the heart of our teaching and learning."

Note: Getting a website to display perfectly across all devices is a real challenge in the modern age, due to various screen sizes and Wix rendering processes. If something isn't quite working for you, again, get in touch with details as to your device and I'll investigate as best I can.
