Delighted to land first factual assistant producer role on BBC two-part doc

I am delighted to be joining BBC Studios on a new two-part documentary, my first assistant producer role in factual TV.
The programme, which has not been publicly announced, will be produced from Television Centre in London. I will help to cast and then produce the programme on location, working with the series director to plan shoots.
The Documentary Unit at BBC Studios have produced many award-winning factual programmes, including Arts strand Imagine as well as Celebrity: A 21st Century Story. Their documentary The Met: Policing London also received critical acclaim.
After discussions with the BBC Studios team, my role will also involve some remote working at home in Manchester. The documentary subject, along with its presenter, will be announced over the coming months, as production begins.
