As September began, I opened the station’s sports coverage on transfer deadline day, reporting on key departures and arrivals across the region. This included updates on Manchester United target Emiliano Martinez and the breaking news of the club’s agreement with Real Betis for winger Antony.

Just over a week later, I broadcast my original story about an amateur boxer from Leigh who defeated an Olympic silver medallist at the World Boxing Championships in Liverpool. In November, I have covered Manchester City in the Champions League, the England squad announcement and local teams in the EFL.

Alongside delivering the sports news, I was on air in the studio with presenter Joe McGrath and colleagues as part of their feel-good morning programme. Across my shifts, we discussed a range of topics, including sheep, technology, and the hit BBC series The Celebrity Traitors.

It's been a real joy to be a part of Greater Manchester's morning routine. Incredibly satisfying for a neurodivergent mind, the sports bulletins have been great fun to construct and deliver and I appreciate all the support from the Radio Manchester team across my autumn shifts.
