I am pleased to announce I have now joined the BBC Bitesize careers and support team as a researcher based at MediaCityUK.

The site itself launched in 1998 as a study support resource for school-age students. Bitesize is currently extending content beyond the curriculum into areas such as wellbeing and healthy relationships.

In my role, I will be responsible for the production of short-form content for online and social, supporting a Producer-Director and Assistant Producer. Targeting a 16-24 audience for the careers and support areas of the site, it will be a mix of pre-planned and reactive fast turn-around content.

I have grown to love this organisation immensely over the last few years. The BBC values and principles match so perfectly with mine and I can only see a bright future ahead for this place. BBC Bitesize is an important place for young people and I feel really blessed to be able use my experiences to help them develop their life skills.
